Adrian Gusky is an Annapolis native who joined Wedding Savvy in January of 2017. Coordinating weddings and designing the Get Wedding Savvy Blog, Adrian has seamlessly married her love of design with her love of organizing. With her content, she hopes to inspire present and future brides to dive head first in their wedding planning process with ease and comfort. Managing Wedding Savvy’s Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, Adrian hopes to reach audiences through her creative voice, thoughtful posts, and helpful tips. Adrian thoroughly enjoys keeping up with the latest and most innovative trends in all things weddings, including fashion, decor, food, and venues and will be a speaker at the 2018 Wedding Savvy Summit in January.
Raquel Shutt is the founder and creator of www.getweddingsavvy.com and the Wedding Savvy Summit, an educational conference that gives wedding consumers a comprehensive understanding of the market. Raquel has been planning weddings since 2001 and is the principal of Wedding Savvy Wedding & Event Consulting, an award winning national wedding consulting company.
Raquel is a proud Cuban American who graduated from Frostburg State University and went on to earn her MBA from Loyola University of Maryland. She created Wedding Savvy Wedding & Event Consulting after serving as an event coordinator at a local hotel and saw a need for a savvier, more client focused business. Raquel resides in Annapolis with her husband and their three sons and travels often to her Charlotte office in North Carolina.
Raquel has had MANY memorable wedding moments, but the most unique is when she coordinated the Towson State Marching Band “marching” in right as the bride and groom said, “I do!”
